In his recent review article, John Freeman complained that Big Sir shouldn't have been able to hit the Flash in the face due to the Flash's impressive reaction time. But as I understand it, the Monitor supposedly supplied Big Sir's outfit and mace and these were specially designed to be able to hit the Flash despite his speed.
