Reading through the network news, I came upon a particular article that mentioned what might happen when Ben Grimm returns to the Fantastic Four or Five. I agree with the writer of the previous article that Sue Richards is most likely to leave. There have been two others who have temporarily joined while Sue took a vacation. The previous article mentioned Medusa of the Inhumans. But le us not forget Thundra, a woman with great strength (almost as great as She-hulk.) It would also seem that Marvel might, in fact, throw Johnny out for some time. They always mention about him returning to college. Maybe this will be the time and Wingfoot will take his place. It might also be good to mention that Reed has been the driving force behind the FF and it might be interesting to see him retire for a little while. But, of course, who would run the team? She-hulk and Ben have muscles but few brains. Johnny is still a whimply brat, unfit to command, so that would leave Wingfoot for the job. Something to think about. -Paul- "I am Dracula and I bid you welcome to my home."

Hmm... might be interesting to replace *all four*... how about Thundra, Wyatt, She-Hulk and ... oh, say Tony Stark? -- -Bernie Roehl (University of Waterloo) ...decvax!watmath!wateng!broehl 73:78:79:14:y:y:4.2BSD:microcomputer,software,theatre,comedy,improvisation

Seriously, if Reed quit temporarily, Sue could take over as leader of the FF. Look at Nenry Pym and Janet--he retired from the Avengers and she went on to become Chairman(woman). Of course they later got divorced, but the decision to have only one mate be an active Avenger preceded the marital breakup by quite a while. Mike Ciaraldi ciaraldi@rochester seismo!rochester!ciaraldi
