Again, selected news from the Dec. 21 issue of The Comic Buyer's Guide:
The First/DC team-up will be Jon Sable & (The) Batman. Mike Grell will
write and draw. You can't beat this, folks.
Void Indigo has been cancelled. Most comics are a matter of taste, but this
one should not garner tears from anyone. If I were to rate any of them, I'd
give 'em a Z on the Moriarty Scale.

And two notes, brought on by end-of-year considerations and that time of the
year...
1) I often place information from The Comic Buyer's Guide here... I'd just
like to point out that this is an excellent magazine, and that I am only
passing on the very surface of the news they broadcast. The lastest
issue contains a complete list of projects proposed for '85 by DC, Marvel
and Eclipse. If anyone would like to subscribe, I'd be happy to pass on
the address. Jerry pointed me to this paper, and it is easily one of the
finest things to come my way in a long time. The best comics fanzine in
the biz.
2) This Christmas marks the first year I've been on the net, and a goodly
slice of my time has been spent here, in the comfortable climate of
net.comics. This is due not only to the relation the articles have on
one of my major hobbies, but also for one of the most civilized, witty
and pleasant group of people I've seen posting in any newsgroup. Folks,
thank you very much for your comments, your help and your presence over
the last year. It has been a very good year for comics, I think (despite
what Jim Shooter has attempted :-) ); it has also been a very good year
for net.comics.
As Wolverine McCalister might say, "Here's hopin' you an' yers have a Merry
Christmas, an' a good new year (also hope this one warn't too bad...)"
"You'd do it for Randolph Scott."
(chorus) "*gasp* RANDOLPH SCOTT!"
