My favorite comic book store clerk only works one day a week, making it harder
for me to get my comics (if I am working that day (Tuesday) then I forgo my
comics for another week just to talk to Jim). Be that as it may, I picked up
my comics today and there was the long awaited NEXUS. Good golly it was good!
Nothing against Steve the Dude, but he really doesn't do the BADGER justice.
There was something especially fierce in the way he is depicted in his regular
book that just didn't show up in Steve's pencils. On the other hand it was SO
good to see them all and to read them all again ("Want a cookie?")
I understood the reasons behind the multi-page backround (after all not
everyone had the incredible insight to be following the comic from the beg-
inning like I was, but is was a little annoying as a old time reader to have
to read throught all the explanations to finally get to the new story. Anyway
you should pick this up if you havn't already. It is as good as they all say.
