[net.comics] Wolfman Interview in AH

disc@homxb.UUCP (S.BERRY) (02/21/85)

This information is from the latest Amazing Heroes--it's second
hand from a phone conversation with my brother; I expect to pick
up a copy this weekend. Perhaps Jerry or Moriarty can post a more
complete synopsis.

First, while the DC Universe will collapse to one Earth, the
HISTORY will be intact--i.e. the All-Star Squadron will always have been
a part of Earth-2 history, J'onn J'onzz a part of Earth-1. However,
a NEW Earth will arise, apparently peopled by all the heroes and characters
DC wants to "save". Some books/titles/characters will be separate from
the mainstream Universe, like the way Epic characters are disassociated
from Marvel's.

The series is really three stories in one. The first story will end in
issue #4, when EVERYTHING is destroyed by this influx of anti-matter
(from Quard, incidently). Issue #7 will see the last appearance of a
MAJOR character (his last name ain't Disaster, either :-) ). Issue #8
will see another one bite the dust. One of the two (Seven, I think)
will be a double-sized issue, containing the origin of Monitor, et al.

That's all *I* know, for now. See you in Amazing Heroes....
