I was talking to the proprietor of my local book shop (Queen City Book Store)
last week, and I asked him about C&D #1, which should have been out a while
ago (~1 1/2 - 2 months). He told me that Marvel has delayed it, and is
renumbering the issues -- what would have been # will now be #1. I suppose
the material in #1 was not suitable for the target audience (see MARVEL
AGE, #24 (?) for some things from what would have been #1).
Before you flame that this was in CBG, keep in mind that I don't get it...
yet. And it's possible that others reading net.comics don't either.
And as for MARVEL AGE (so I'm a depraved soul), I can get it for a quarter
(it's not worth too much more than that). It's like "gee I got 25 cents,
I think I'll throw out in the street."
Random musings and tangerine dreams:
So the Scarlet Speedster bites the big one, eh? Oh, well, that's 75 cents
more a month I'll have. :-)
Cerebus Jam #1 is being delayed for an unknown amount of time (it better
come out soon!).
All votes for the CBG poll are due April 13. (Why haven't you sent
yours in yet?)
