*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** I realize that this may not be the appropriate newsgroup, but I couldn't really find a better one... I am looking for any place in the Boston/Cambridge area that carries feature-length videocassettes with a series of Bugs Bunny cartoons, preferrably of the 50's-60's period - directed by Chuck M. Jones. (To give you an idea, the cartoons I'm referring to are those such as "A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court," the one where he winds up in the castle of a mad scientist with a furry orange, tooth-shaped monster, the one about Robin Hood, the one about Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, etc.) I'm not exactly sure if such a tape exists (I believe that Warner Bros. holds the rights to these cartoons), but I think I remember seeing a video rental place at home that carried such a tape (at least it had Ali Baba - or was that one about A Thousand and One Arabian Nights? I forget...). I would appreciate any information - such as any knowledge on whether the tapes exist or not. Info on any of the other Warner Bros. cartoons of this period (Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn cartoons by Robert McKimson, etc.), on VIDEOTAPE, for rental, would be equally appreciated, as would any knowledge or trivia about good cartoons in general. Sorry again about intruding on your newsgroup(s). Please don't flame me, even if you're angry. Believe me - it's not worth your trouble. "I sense a presence I've not felt since..."

Another question about Bugs: Does anyone remember the Bugs Bunny episode where Bugs goes on a rampage and does all kinds of crazy things like sawing Florida off the US etc. and the US Army finally has to come after him. In the end, I think there is even a non- cartoon scene of a tank chasing Bugs around (Bugs is a cartoon, the tank is not). -- Pravin Kumar Don't bother me! I'm on an emergency third rail power trip. Lots of glorious footage at the end, taken from assorted war movies, also the cavalry riding about. Final shot is Bugs' home being ringed by about a dozen shells, which simultaneously explode, providing good opportunity for the Warner Bros. "That's All, Folks!". -dave
