well, they did it. they killed off supergirl. although it bordered on the overly melodramatic, i was kind of touched (of course, i cried during the "eight is enough" christmas episodes). superman's reflections on the "early days" did strike a chord with me. i used to read alot of dc's titles when i was young{er} and the character in the crisis series had grown up alot. i've been kind of depressed all day. i haven't felt this way since spock died. i guess it serves me right for not going to see the supergirl movie. danny chen ihnp4!hou2b!dwc

I suppose that since I have been a DC reader for years I was a fool for not buying the Crisis series. Unfortunately, the Quick Chek I have been buying at lately doesn't carry it! I have only been reading Flash lately, and I understand that I only have 2 more of those to deal with. Anyway, this death of Supergirl (RIP) shocks me. How did it happen, and could someone fill me in on what else has happened? Apparently Flash is gonna go, too. What else? AND WHY?? Condolences gratefully accepted.
