From: harry@ucbarpa (Harry I. Rubin) I have not been reading Fantastic Four. I know Reed and Sue Richards had a baby - Franklin - but I don't know anything about what his powers are supposed to be, or even whether they have manifested yet. How old is Franklin? Can someone please fill me in? Reply to the net, please. Thanks! Harry

His powers have manifested themselves at various times, and have done the following: -been capable of destroying the world if Franklin was not put in a comatose state. -destroyed Ultron ( Ultron-7, I believe ) in the Inhumans' city. -freed the rest of the FF from the dastardly control of the Salem Seven. -instantly physically matured him, and enabled him to defeat the FF, and transform Ben into a different form ( when the last time he had been transformed, we had been told "Ohmigod, you're stuck now, pal; no power in heaven or earth could change you now ( not a direct quote )" ), not to mention probing Ben's mind to see that Ben could transform himself, if only he wouldn't have this psychological problem with thinking Alicia only loved the Thing. -given him prescient ( future-predicting ) dreams. In other words, Franklin's powers do whatever the present writer says they can do, as far as I've been able to see. At the rate they're going, the kid'll make Phoenix look like she belongs in the Misfits! RD "fozz" Francis !cbosgd!osu-eddie!francis or francis@osu-eddie.UUCP
