Here goes...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I, whom heretofore will be referred to as Gabble Ratchet, will now relate the information I recently learned from none other than a prominent Marvel comics artist who appeared at my local direct sales shop. He sez the evil person behind Karma's transformation (New Mutants that is.) is none other than the villanous Amahl Farouk of X-Men fame. But not to worry Karma fans, all will wind up and turn out well in the forthcoming New Mutants Special. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (End of spoilers, beginning of rumors.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, I hear tell that Frank Miller will be returning to Daredevil. Unfortunately it will only be as writer; Dave Mazzuchelli will remain as the artist for that title. Take it any way you want it. Despite all rumors to the contrary, I read in a certain famous comics review magazine that First Comics' American Flagg will continue, although the only affiliation with Howard Chaykin that will remain is the chore of scripting. The new artist for Flagg will be (is supposed to be) Bill Willingham (formerly of Elementals fame, it is rumored that he left due to the inability of Comico to see eye to eye with Bill.)
