If you haven't seen the first issue of the
Balder mini-series, you might want
to take a look.
Walt Simonson wrote it, and "our pal" Sal Buscema
drew it.  
In the advance hype, Walt said that he thought Sal
had done some of the best work 
of his career.
I agree.  The style is somewhat
"grittier" than Sal's older work (e.g. Hulk the last
few years), oddly enough more like Simonson's
recent work.

All in all, I find it very pleasing.
The story isn't bad either...

Well, I posted a review of it some weeks ago. Yes, it's good. No, it's not
some of Simonson's best work. For one, Simonson is only writing it; Sal Buscema
is drawing it. Buscema's art is better than most of the art I've seen from him
lately. Simonson's writing is on a par with what he's doing in THOR, no better,
no worse.
	If you like what Simonson is doing in THOR, and don't mind not having
him doing the art, then I recommend it.
