[net.comics] Supermans vs. Supermen

What is the plural of Superman?  "Supermen" or "Supermans" ?
"Supermen" sounds much better, but that's not how we form the plural
of a proper name.  And it must be a proper name and not a title (like "boss")
because it's capitalized.

I believe the official plural is "Supermen".
Back in the Forties, National (now DC) had a fan club called
the Supermen of America.
I seem to recall reading about this when DC reprinted one
of the old issues a few years ago (Superman #1, I suppose).
