Are you interested in writing or drawing comics? Are you interested in corresponding with people who share your interest? Perhaps you should check out APA 5. APA 5 is an Amatuer Press Association publication that primarily deals with comics. It's circulation is limited to contributers, though there are usually back issues available for people who are interested in checking us out. It's purpose is to provide a forum for peer review. It's a way to find out what 30 or more people who read comics, like or dislike about your stuff. Frank Miller, Chris Warner and Mark Badger are all recent APA 5 alumni.
