On page 23 (just after the middle), in the upper right panels, . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . where Robin-2 and Huntress-2 are about to be 'offed by the Shadow Demons, there's this other guy trapped there in a blue suit and dark sunglasses, who is also destroyed. Anyone know who this poor now-nonexistent soul might be? (A friend suggested Midnight, the DC Spirit rip-off who appeared briefly in All-Star Squadron, but he had a blue mask. I hope that it isn't Dr. Midnight!) Second question. Why kill only HALF of Hawk and Dove? Tim Lasko {decvax,ihnp4,seismo,...}!decvax!dec-rhea!dec-regina!lasko DEC, Maynard MA

I thought it was the Clark Kent persona of Superman-2, a nice bit of foreshadowing, since Supes-2 probably won't need his secret identity wherever he is now. The blue suit, white shirt, tie and glasses are Clark, but the tie is black rather than red, and the glasses are shaded. On the other hand, maybe I'm getting too involved in these things and the victim is just an innnocent bystander. - Ralph
