hello! how nice to meet all of you. i'm afraid that this might not look very nice. i can't be sure of the status of upper/ lowercase letters, etc. please forgive any lack of aesthetic qualities. this is all caused by a strange terminal. being new around here, i was very happy to discover a net devoted to comics. i am also one of those people who should know better but insists on spending too much money on comics every friday. oh well...i might as well get right into the thick of things... someone mentioned elementals #5.i just finished reading my copy, and was disappointed. i haven't nailed down what i didn't like about it yet, i just couldn't get interested in what was happening. it was all just routine superhero stuff & didn't rise to the level of that great first issue. i wonder if we will have to wait 6 months for the next issue? (forgive me jack herman...) i shouldn't be surprised to see alan moore fans about...i just hope that the watchmen doesn't become another version of that horrible american flagg! backup moore did. maybe he wrote it that way on purpose, just to trick us into thinking he was mortal... happy new year! jon trowbridge
