For the record, these are the differences between the British MARVELMAN
SPECIAL (referred to below as MS) and Eclipse's MIRACLEMAN 3-D #1 (re-
ferred to below as M3D). Of course, it should be needless to point out
that all occurances of "Marvelman" were replaced with "Miracleman".
Summary: One original-Marvelman story substituted by another.
The Big Ben story eliminated completely.
Two stories switched in order.
One framing page moved and slightly revised.
The "table of contents" for MS is:
(1) Pages 1 & 2 of "Saturday Morning Pictures" (the framing sequence).
(2) "The Marvelman Family and the Invaders from the Future"
(3) "Marvelman and the Dreams"
(4) "Young Marvelman and the Moon of Doom"
(5) "Marvelman and the Foam Fanatic"
(6) Page 3 of "Saturday Morning Pictures"
(7) "Big Ben Versus King Arthur"
(8) Page 4 of "Saturday Morning Pictures"
The "table of contents" for M3D is:
(1a) same as above
(2a) "Miracleman and the Exiled Gods"
[This replaced (2) above because (2) was, with extensive re-
scripting by Moore, used as the prologue in MIRACLEMAN #1.]
(3a) Page 3 of "Saturday Morning Pictures" [(6) above]
[This page was moved because the Big Ben story was eliminated,
since the Big Ben stories are not intended to be reprinted in
the context of Miracleman. The last panel in this framing page
was changed. Where Gargunza's face appears in the vidscreen
here, Big Ben's was in the original. Also the dialogue was
changed: "Fu Manchu" here was originally "The Avengers".]
