The book has certainly changed over its 80 issue history, hasn't it?
I don't want Sim to revert to doing something that he may feel he has
grown beyond though.
...I feel that Dave is subjecting us to a lot of arrogance in the
two issue dream sequence a little while ago and in his editorials.
I've always felt that I would dislike Sim if I ever met him.

Sim recently stated that he keeps the book in its present form because
that way he can be sure it remains profitable.

Actually, I think that A-V will be around much longer than Renegade.
I wouldn't be surprised if the publishing difference between himself
and Deni that Dave alluded to was that Deni wanted to publish more
titles while Dave wanted to remain with fewer titles.

Yes, Dave Sim is obnoxious. His editorials are obnoxious and his letter
column replies are obnoxious.
After having said that, has everyone read issue #81? It's extremely
funny, harking back to the early days of the series. If you don't
normally read CEREBUS, and can take a little fun-poking at Marvel,
don't miss the latest issue.
