The first issue of the 3-D comic "Seduction of the Innocent" has a cat story in it that is vaguely reminiscent of the old EC stuff though not as well done. (you'll do well to remember that EC wasn't Shakespeare either). Its the story of a man married to a woman who loves cats with an obsession. Needless to say he hates them just as passionately. Thus you have (steve richter's) conflict. which can only be resolved one way (in a horror mag anyway) yup, you got it, murder. Basically the story is much too predicatable with the husband dropping *hidden* clues to the story's ending by commentting constantly (6 times to be exact) something like: "Tiger!(the cat) you're never around when emily is (the wife) around". The art is Steve Ditko'ish and not very satisfying. The 3-D is passable but not great. I wouldn't say it's worth the 2.25 price just to read the cat story but it might be worth your time if a friend has brought it already or if you can find a cheapo second-hand copy at your local dealer.
