After we bought our home a little over 3 years ago, we started a small rose garden. Well since then we've been steadily adding to the garden until now we've accumulated about 40 bushes. It's getting crowded, but there's always room for more! Anyway, as every year, I'm anxious to see all the new roses and have yet to make up my mind as to which ones to add to our own garden. I'm particularly fond of fragrant exhibition quality roses. Any recommendations? Also, I'd like to find some sources of information on old rose varieties and nurseries that carry them. For those interested, below is a list of rose nurseries specializing in mail order, all of whom will provide catalogs on request, free of charge. All have been recommended as reputable suppliers dealing in high quality roses. I have ordered roses from both Fred Edmunds and Jackson & Perkins and can vouch for their quality. If anyone knows of other rose nurseries that they would recommend, I'd certainly be interested in hearing. Roses by Fred Edmunds, Inc. Armstrong Nurseries, Inc. 6235 S.W. Kahle Rd. P.O.
