I have been noticing that something was nibbling my swiss chard and brocolli leaves, and have been sure it hasn't been bugs. Yesterday I noticed very distinct deer prints in the garden, going right through the chard. Any body got any ideas on how to discourage them? Forget an electric fence, that is going around the other garden to keep the coons out of the corn. Margaret Reek Rochester Institute of Technology rochester!asgard!mmr

Go to your hairdresser and get some human hair. I am told that it will keep the deer away. When I got some, they asked whether I had a deer a problem. So it must be common knowledge, however I have not tryed it. I don't have a deer problem until the fall. Irv McNair ATT Bell Labs

I have been told that human male hair is much more repulsive to deer
than female hair. I know that the male hair works around azalea gardens.
