I just bought a 2 foot(?) adjustable height one from Park. Looks very nice,
has a pseudo-walnut top. Paint quality on the stand fairly bad; it looks
like they sprayed it and let the paint drip off, so some areas have sort of
little sheets of paint attached and when you try to remove them you get bare
metal. Easy to fix, though. Just another sign of the decay of good
workmanship. I don't remember if they had longer ones, but I seem to recall
a 4 foot one.

Gardener's Supply Company [133 Elm Street, Winsooki, Vermont 05404
(802) 655 9006] has a combination flourescent/incandescent growing system
that provides heat as well as light. Their "portable garden light" is four
feet long but height is only adjustable by your ingenuity. Their more
elaborate "Floracart" has three adjustable shelves, each with its own light/heat source. The whole thing is mounted on casters. Bo
well made with no flaking paint.
