	It is also call by the dubious name of 'snake plant'.  Its
generic name is Sansaveria (sp?).  There are two varities that I
know of.  One, the leaves are all green with yellow speckles, the
other has a yellow band running along the edge of the leaves.

	I have had one for years.  If, in the summer, you put it
ouside and water it fairly often, it will produce very pretty and
fragrant white flower spikes.
