[net.bicycle] windscreens

I received a Zzipper fairing for Christmas a year and a half ago
and have been using it since. Basically it works as advertized.
It helps most at relatively high speeds and in head winds. There
you may be able to ride a gear higher than you would otherwise.
The fairing is also good for staying warmer in cold weather.

I've tried the Zzipper a couple of times on my single bike, but
mostly I use it when my wife and I ride the tandem. It makes more
of a difference because of the higher speed. (It doesn't help the
uphills though.) The fairing does affect handling in cross winds,
but that hasn't been a problem so far.
