I have some Shimano 600EX components, too. I'm not as enchanted. I've never had much luck getting parts for them. In particular, I can't seem to get chainrings. One store here told me that they were reluctant to carry Shimano *anything* anymore, because the lines changed so fast and they could never get parts for "last year's fad". Others have been willing to order things, but they always look doubtful, and the results bear them out. Mail order places haven't been much better. Have other people had this problem?
