I remember seeing an add in a reprint from the Sears catalog circa 1890? which depicted an attachment to a bicycle which allowed riding on railroad tracks. I think it had only a single outboard flanged wheel which went on the opposite track and fastened to three points on the bicycle, one high, so you didn't tip over and two near the wheel hubs to keep you in a straight line on the track. Anyone know any more about this 'lost technology'??? Warren Finke @ Tektronix
