[net.bicycle] In defence of bike paths

One of the nicest cycling path set ups I've ever seen was in Peterborough
in England.Where if memory seves me well there were circular paths around
the city and also paths that led in and out of the city (like the spokes
on a wheel).You could get within a couple of blocks of almost everything
the city had to offer without leaving the cycle path.If anyone is doing
any cycling in Britain it might be worth a look at.Peterborough is 
located approx 100 miles north of London.
