[net.bicycle] Cleats again

As I noted before, I do not think cleats are a problem in the city. Certainly,
I never had any problem in New York City, but then maybe that is because
the average speed is frequently 5 mi/hr :-). Having a strap loose should
not be too much of a problem, but I kept them tight in NYC. After some
practice, there is no problem quickly loosening a strap when necessary.
Concerning a slipping wheel, I keep the straps fairly tight in snow and
take my chances; it is easier than trying to get the foot in when the rear
wheel slips easily. For cyclocross I can see not being strapped in tightly,
but even there I use clips and straps.
Actually, racers should take a foot out at red lights in order to get
practice getting the foot in quickly on startup.

How do you stop at red lights without taking a foot out? Extraordinary
balance.
