Tour de France, Stage 14 - Rodez to Domaine du Rouret, 141 miles (Thursday, July 12) 1. Fons de Wolf (Belgium) 6:00:45 2. Laurent Fignon (France) 6:18:25 3. Bernard Hinault (France) 6:18:25 4. Phil Anderson (Australia) 6:18:25 5. Peter Winnens (Netherlands) 6:18:25 The hill climbers seem to have taken over this race, with several of the overall leaders helping their cause with a good showing. Overall standings after this stage were not published, but de Wolf should have helped himself with the 18 minute victory margin, if he was anywhere near the top before this race. Besides Fignon (3rd overall before this stage), Hinault (5th) and Anderson (6th), Sean Kelly (9th) and Pedro Delgado (10th) also finished in the top 20, Kelly 12th with a time of 6:18:33 and Delgado 18th with a time of 6:18:37. Denmark's Kim Andersen, who was among the leaders after the early stages, follwed up Wednesday's excllent third place finish with a 14th place yesterday.
