A little earlier, I conjectured about timing of Race Across America being in summer so that it wouldn't have to contend with snow. Well, for the record it snowed a BUNCH in the Rockies on Sept 7 (in addition to the little snow I mentioned happening a couple of weeks before), and the snow was down as far as 9000 ft. in some areas.
