Does anyone out there know of a good deal on an exercise bike. My sister lives in Dallas, is a real fitness buff, and is in the market for a good exercyle. I recommended bike stores, checking gyms for used equipment, etc.. We`re talking original list of $400-$1000 or thereabouts. She`s looked at Monark and Precor, seems impressed with both, especially the latter. Any offers/suggestions?

I would suggest that you convince her to get a real bike if she doesn't have one already. In Dallas, you should be able to ride outdoors for a large part of the year. For the bad days, rollers or a turbo trainer would provide a way to workout. I think you can improve your health in more than just the physical way by taking to a quiet country road. Bart Thielges
