Riding after our first decent snowfall, I got hit with some snowballs.
Granted, that they are not that bad (I suppose I'd rather be a snowball target
than a dog's target) they were still annoying, especially the one that was
thrown at me from a passing car.
I did have a little fun at one point, when just as I came to a stop in front
of one house to shift clothing I got hit. As I looked up at where it had come
from I saw a figure scurry around the back.
With the dark face mask, shades over the eyes and no exposed skin anywhere, I
figured I looked like the guy from those horror flicks who stalks everyone in
the house and murders them gruesomely. So I walked around the house banging
on this and that as if I was trying to get in, walked into the garage and made
some more noise. He probably thought I had a hand axe in my handlebar bag.
What fun!
Usually I try to encourage good attitudes about cyclists, but I hope I
generated at least one nightmare today. (Forgive me if he ends up the type
that runs them off the road with his car.)
