Hi, I'm new on this net and thought I'd start things out with a interesting
subject. I'm a racer from this area ( mostly road and TTT work) and I just
wondered about the rest of the racing public's opinion about the blood
doping that went on with a few of the cycling teams members. If some of you
are not familiar with it just let me know and I'll post a short explination.

My general feeling is that the racers were just as much at fault as the
coaches and trainers. The racers could make up their own minds and some of
them thought it was wrong and did not participate in the doping. There
could have been pressure on the racers also ( do it or don't ride, etc.)
I am not making any judgement as to it being a violation of any rule. There
is a rule about the 'introduction of any phisiological substance into the
body for the sole purpose of increasing performance' but does a blood
transfusion qualify?
