Does anyone out there know what the difference is between cold-forging
and melt-forging? I have an idea but I'm not sure. But more to the
point, does it really make any difference in the performance of the
component? Are the cold-forged cranksets, etc., really more durable
or lighter than their identical, lower priced, melt-forged brethren
from the same manufacturer (viz., Sugino cranksets)?
Anxiously awaiting awareness....
