xxx This month's Bicycling magazine (actually, the May, 1985 issue) has some more information on the Biopace chainrings. Earlier versions of the Biopace were best suited to slow mashing type peddlars (60-80 rpm cadence). Shimano has just released 2 new high cadence chainrings, with 42 and 52 teeth. The 52 tooth is meant for sprinting and the 42 for climbing. These might be a good idea for people who sprint with a 52 tooch chainring at 90+ rpm. -- Kenton Lee Bell Labs - WB ihnp4!wbscc!kfl or ihnp4!hoxna!kfl
