I may be the only person who cares but here is
the latest on Rush:
Geddy, Alex, and Neil are spending six weeks in
isolation somewhere in Canada. They are spending
this time to write all of their new album. After
that they are going to Florida (city unknown) to
do two concerts. Then they are going to England
for a couple more concerts. These concerts are
suppose to still be Grace Under Pressure concerts
and not contain much of what they wrote in Canada.
After the concerts they are going back to the
studio in Canada and start recording. Final product
is due at the end of June. Nothing is yet known
about the style or content of album #13 but I'm
sure things will begin to leak out about six weeks
from now when they return to civilization. Wouldn't
it be a nice surprise if they had Wakeman or somebody
close to Wakeman's expertise adding keyboards to the
group and at the same time letting Geddy concentrate
on being the World's greatest bassist (as all us real
Rush fans know him). But don't worry I'm not counting
on this happening, but I will be satisfied with whatever
they do to #13. At least I'm sure it won't sound like
Prince wrote all the music like with Collins new album.
It doesn't sound bad for Collins but Rush's philosophy
says no way! By the way if anybody out there can
manage to get tickets for the concerts in Florida
