I bought and installed a Cateye Solar last weekend, and found the installation
instructions very easy to follow. I have just one question: what are the
Wheel Adjustment Washers (aka Rondelles de reglage de roue & Beilegscheiben)
for? They're listed and illustrated under "(H) ATTACHMENTS", but nowhere in
the installation instructions or in the the operating instructions is there
any indication of when, where or how they should be used. Nothing in the
installation illustrations or in the text in English, Francais, or Deutsch,
and although I can't even attempt to read it, probably nothing in the Japanese.
Since the unit appears to be working fine without the washers, I'm not really
worried about it, but I'd like to know what they're for, just out of perverse
curiosity.

replies, I will post a summary.
