Greg Lemond wins the Tahoe to Reno Road Race by 4 minutes.

Andy Hampsten and Greg Lemond broke away from the field on the first
major climb about halfway thru the stage.  From there Andy and Greg
opened a four minute lead on the field.  At the finish it was Greg
Lemond by 2 bike lengths.  It was a satisfying win for Greg as Reno
is his home town.  Another note, Davis Phinney, who started the day
in 2nd place, lost 11 minutes and slipped to 20th place overall.

Marianne Berglund looks good as the overall favorite as she has the
stronest team.  Rebecca Twig and Inga Thompson of 7-Eleven will be
right in there also.  Also look for Sandra Shumacher (3rd 84 Olympics)
and Jeannie Longo to be among the leaders.
