blanken@uiucdcs.CS.UIUC.EDU (09/27/85)

Just a reminder....

The Prarie Cycle Club's SI Internationale' Metric Century is on October 6th

in Urbana. The ride leaves from the Thornburn Center in Urbana, which is on

the corner of McCullogh and Springfield, but registration is at the back of

the building, on Stoughton. Costs are $5.00 for preregistered riders and

$6.00 for day-of-ride registration. Preregistration can be done at Paul's

Bike Shop in Urbana, at 113 N. Race (under the Courier Cafe) and day-of-

ride registration will be handled at the Thornburn Center (The PCC will

accept your check for the exact amount). The ride starts at 7:00 AM. The

course will meander out to White Heath, IL (18 miles directly west, not

neccessarily the course length) where there is a food stop. Then it will

head on out to Allerton Park, turn around head back to White Heath for

food stop number two, and then back in to Urbana. You must check in the

Thornburn Center in order to complete the ride and recieve your terrific

PCC fall century patch included in the cost of registration.

We will all be looking forward to seeing lots of folks out there and enjoying

the ride. This rider is heading out around 7:00 AM. See you there.
