experience. Knowledge of UNIX internals is an asset, as is a background in
networking or compiler optimization. One position requires both VMS and
   UNIX expertise.

We also expect to have an opening in our advanced business applications
area within the next two months. Knowledge of UNIX, business systems, and
   4GL technology is desirable.

management and support of our facility. Supervisory, administrative, and
planning skills are needed along with strong experience in UNIX systems
software internals. Previous systems administration experience is
   required.

o Lead Technical Writer

We need a person with 2-4 years technical writing experience and a proven
track record in working with diverse technical and marketing groups. The
lead writer is responsible for overseeing the activities of our
documentation team. Strong organizational and administrative skills are
needed, coupled with the ability to be directly involved with all aspects
of technical writing. Preference will be shown to those with a sensitivity
to marketing-oriented writing, design, and layout.

HCR offers a number of opportunities to work on advanced UNIX projects. We
build our own software products, and we also are involved in a variety of
exciting projects with major computer manufacturers. Our environment is
staffed by very talented and hardworking people. We are located in the heart
of Toronto. We offer competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the
opportunity to join a stock ownership plan. While preference is shown to
Canadian citizens and landed immigrants, we will consider all qualified
applications, and we can expedite work permits or immigration proceedings.
