I am looking for two programmers/analysts to work in Scarborough, Ontario.
The system environment is as follows:
680x0 based Multi-user super micro (Xenix 3.0)
Various pieces of office automation software (Quadratron, Multiplan ...)
Unify Relational Data Base Management System
DEC Microvax II (Micro VMS)
DBMS 32 Data Base
Datatrieve Report Writer
Fortran '77
ASK MANMAN Manufacturing Management Software
Lots of IBM PC compatibles + Ethernet Network
plus other goodies too numerous to mention ...
The ideal people for these jobs don't exist, so the following will catch my
attention:
- UN*X (of course)
- Fortran '77
- C
- Solid understanding of DBMS concepts/applications
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Interest in working hard (with a sense of humour)
- some knowledge of financials would be nice - COBOL programmers
need not apply ( :-) )
