Well, I now have a "staffing consultant" (headhunter) who thinks I'm wonderful (poor silly boy, it's the net that's wonderful). He did pass this on, for the interest of the net community in general: A financial institution in London, Ontario, is seeking a project leader for a project to place 3 or more PC-class unix workstations in each of their 250-odd branches (actually PS/2 model 60's). The person should be technically bright, able to lead a small group of contractors, have a good presence in meetings and be able to deal with a wide range of personality types. [Ie, the person had better have worked for at least one big company before --dave] The term is 6 months, with two terms planned. The option to become a full-time employee of the company is available after at least one term. The wages are reputed to be in the area of $50K/year, with a benefit thrown in: the project leader will be supplied with a 2-bedroom condominium, with appliances and weekly maid service for the duration of the project. The staffing consultant is: Mr. Vince Massara, Saber Consultants Ltd., 45 Charles St E., Suite 100 Toronto, Ontario, M4Y 1S2 (416) 964-6565. -- David Collier-Brown. {mnetor|yetti|utgpu}!geac!daveb Geac Computers International Inc., | Computer Science loses its 350 Steelcase Road,Markham, Ontario, | memory (if not its mind) CANADA, L3R 1B3 (416) 475-0525 x3279 | every 6 months.
