POSITION:	Technical Consultant, National Accounts
REPORTING TO:	Manager, Software Sales
LOCATION:	Markham/Toronto
START DATE:	Immediate

QUALIFICATIONS:
--------------

*	University Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.

*	5-10 years related experience, preferably in a technical support role.

*	Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

*	Familiarity with the following products would be valuable:
		3B family of computers, PCs, 386-based computers, UNIX*,
		DOS, Starlan, 6500s, ISN, AT&T terminals and printers.

*	Experience in programming in C, Assembly Language and High Level
	Languages would also be valuable.

*	Ability to communicate in French an asset.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
----------------

*	Provide first level technical support to National Accounts in the
	Indirect Channel.

*	Research and develop documented solutions on in-house test hardware
	where appropriate.

*	Work with regional TCs, Services,  and NSSO on National Account issues
	as required.

*	Work together with Software Specialists and/or Systems Integrators
	on complex third party sales.

*	Participate, where appropriate, in National Account presentations.

*	Work together with personnel from National Accounts in responding to
	RFQs/RFPs/RFIs.

*	Develop and maintain an up-to-date technical library.

*	Creation of technical articles and papers.
