POSITION:	Software Specialist
REPORTING TO:	Manager, Software Sales
LOCATION:	Toronto/Markham
START DATE:	ASAP

QUALIFICATIONS:
--------------

*	University Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.

*	Minimum 3 years experience with UNIX.

*	Experience in programming in C, Assembly Language and High Level
	Languages.

*	Expertise in Porting and Debugging of Software is a definite asset.

*	Experience with a wide range of hardware, and AT&T Computers in
	particular would also be valuable.

*	Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

*	Ability to communicate in French an asset.



RESPONSIBILITIES:
----------------

*	Porting and debugging of both horizontal and vertical software
	applications to AT&T Computers.

*	Development of tools to make porting more efficient.

*	System Administration of Porting Center computers in conjunction
	with other Software Specialists, including system upgrades, backups,
	etc.

*	Provide national support for software porting to Value Added Resellers
	(VARs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) for AT&T Canada.

*	Creation of technical articles and papers that deal with porting of
	software to AT&T Computers
