JOB OPENING Stuff programmer position in an exciting multiprocessor OS research project Computer Systems Research Institute, University of Toronto (affiliated with Departments of EE and CS) A position is available immediately in building a novel operating system for a medium-scale (~100 processor) multiprocessor system. We are looking for a bright and dynamic term player to participate in our design and implementation effort. Applicant is expected to have at least two years of experience in systems software, and some exposure to multiprocessor systems. A masters degree in computer science or a related field is desirable, but not required. We offer an exciting working environment, flexible working hours, and lots of challenges. Compensation commensurate with experience. One year appointment funded through ITRC, with potential extension.
