Hi, About a month ago, I posted an article here, asking about international employment, head hunters, etc. I received certain answers, but nothing too specific as far as names addresses, etc. are concerned. I can send you all the responses I received if you ask me by mail. I am trying to find out if anybody out there has any experience with jobs overseas. I am interested in working for an international company in South America, Europe, Australia or New Zealand. I am a Unix/VMS expert, familiar with all the aspects of Suns, Vaxes and other Unix computers. My wife and I speak several languages (English, French, Spanish, and a bit of German). I have held student jobs overseas. At this point, I am looking for a serious position with a multi-national organization. Here are some specific questions: Do you know of any international head hunters? Do you have any names, addresses? Have you had experience with any of them, and if so, can you recommend any of them or tell me to stay away from any? Have you heard of the Overseas Careers of California Agency? Are they any good or are they ripoff artists? Is it always necessary to work at the parent company for a while before being sent to overseas positions by a North American company? If there is enough interest in the above questions, I will post the answers, or mail them to you. If you could look up international head hunters in your local Yellow Pages and send the names and addresses to me, I could compile that information and post that too.
