I am posting the following article for John Costello. Please e-mail all replies to him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm an AI worker living in Glasgow, Scotland and I'd like to find work in Canada for a few years. My leisure interests are mainly outdoor pursuits, Skiing, Walking, Canoeing so I'd prefer to work in the mid/west, within striking distance of the Rockies. I'd like to hear from anyone who can give me some idea what the AI industry in Canada is like. What sort of demand there is for experienced people, what salaries are like etc. Also any suggestions of the places to find advertised vacancies, or names and addresses of suitable recruitment agencies would be most welcome. I am currently employed as a Knowledge Engineer at the University of Strathclyde. I have an MS in Information Technology and experience with Lisp, KEE, Symbolics Lispm's, Unix, Sun etc. My main interest at the moment is in knowledge based production scheduling. Please email any replies as I dont receive this newsgroup. Thanks for your time John. ==================================================================== John Costello arpa : jc@cs.strath.ac.uk Knowledge Engineering Group janet : jc@uk.ac.strath.cs Computer Science Department uucp : jc@strath-cs.uucp University of Strathclyde Glasgow G1 1XH Tel : 041-552-4400 x3524 UK ==================================================================== -- Scott D.
