Programmer Analyst Computer Science - Reporting to the Manager of the UBC-Idacom Project, duties include design and implementation of software for testing of communication protocols, reference implementation of CCITT protocols, and design of test suites and test methodologies. Work may require the use of Formal Description Techniques (FDTs). The successful candidate will work with a team of technical staff and with faculty members in the Department of Computer Science. The project is a joint effort between the University of British Columbia and Idacom Electronics Ltd. Preferred Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science with at least two years of experience, or M.Sc. in Computer Science. The candidate should be familiar with computer communications protocols, protocol testing, and the UNIX operating system.
