We are looking for a Technical Support Person!
The successful candidate will be responsible for hot-line customer support.
This will involve assisting customers with routine problems, including
software installation and setup, providing technical information about the
software, evaluating problems which may necessitate modifications to the
software, and providing workarounds where necessary.
The following qualities are essential to this position:
-good problem solving skills
-ability to work under pressure
-adaptability, ability to learn quickly
We hope to find a candidate with a mix of skills and experience that
include some of the following:
-UNIX (including some system experience, programming)
-nroff/troff formatting utilities
-familiarity with computer hardware
-customer support experience
This position will also involve providing support for our SGML (Standard
Generalized Markup Language) based product.
Salary commensurate with experience.
