MANAGER, DOCUMENTATION GROUP The Excitement: Myrias Research Corporation has developed the Myrias SPS-2 Scalable Parallel Supercomputer for scientific/engineering applications by taking advantage of the power of parallel processing. Ours is a significant innovation, an important step on the way to a new generation of scientific computing. The Challenge: Contribute to the team effort to launch Myrias into the high speed scientific computing market. The Position: As Manager of the Documentation Group, you will plan and coordinate the production of required technical manuals for Myrias computer users, and ensure that these manuals are technically accurate, readable, effective, and possess good marketing impact. It will also be your responsibility to edit and produce Myrias technical documentation for internal use. You require university graduation in a natural or computer science or mathematics, accompanied by experience in the production of computer technical manuals and the demonstrated ability to write and edit technical material relating to computers. Further qualifications include a background in the areas of print journalism or publishing, project management, desktop publishing, and scientific computing. You must have a good knowledge of UNIX and Sun Microsystems workstations. Experience with high speed scientific computing would be an asset.
