The Department of Computer Science requires a Programmer/Analyst with
systems administration experience to assist in the operation of
departmental computing equipment and to support faculty, staff and
students.

Duties include maintaining the UNIX operating system (SunOS 3.5 and
4.0, System V, and 4.3 BSD); the development and maintenance of system
programs and utilities; and assistance of faculty, staff and student
users.

Qualifications include a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or
equivalent; experience with UNIX System Administration; programming
experience with "C"; the ability to work without close supervision;
and good interpersonal skills.  Experience with MULTICS and networks
would be an asset.
